Because we specialize in Labor Measurement Engineering, we deal on an almost daily basis with comparative analyses between check studies and audit reports, not only with respect to Engineered Labor Standards (ELS) installed by us, but also in regard to ELS installed by our competitors.

It often happens that when companies hear about the stellar results  we obtained in our clients’ distribution centers, transportation departments, and retail stores, they want to verify their current productivity levels through independent audits of their own ELS.

It is not uncommon that the audits we conduct in their facilities reveal productivity levels significantly lower than expected.

This is usually due to the fact that their preferred work methods are not as effective and efficient as  they should be. Other reasons for such discrepancies are poor product layout, utilization of improper equipment,  lack of functionality, and the absence of customized software applications.
